GB Tyres announced its own commercial vehicle wheel range in July 2023, extending the business’s wholesale offering beyond truck tyres. The launch built on experience in the commercial vehicle sector dating back to the start of its tyre wholesale operation in 2012.
A new range for the commercial vehicle trade
The initial wheel range was developed through a long-term partnership with a supplier in Asia. At launch, GB Tyres reported OE approval from multiple UK and EU trailer manufacturers.
The first selection focused on commonly used truck wheel fitments and tyre sizes, with scope to expand the line-up in response to customer demand. The original range table is retained below as a record of the launch specification.
Confirm the correct wheel fitment
When enquiring about replacement truck or trailer wheels, provide the vehicle or trailer details, existing wheel markings and tyre size. Wheel dimensions and mounting details need to match the application; the tyre size alone does not identify every aspect of a wheel’s fitment.
